²⁷ I was encouraged by the help of the Lord my God, and I gathered men from Israel to go up with me.

²⁸ These are the principal men, according to their fathers’ houses and their groups, who went up with me from Babylon, in the reign of Artaxerxes the king: ²⁹ Of the sons of Phineas, Gershom. Of the sons of Ith′amar, Gamael. Of the sons of David, Hattush the son of Shecani′ah.
